Qualifications: must possess a M.D., be Board Certified in Psychiatry, and a current license to practice medicine in the District of Columbia. A minimum of two (2) years of practicing medicine in a community health clinic environment and/or experience in working with immigrant or economically-disadvantaged populations in a maternal/child healthcare setting highly desirable. A thorough understanding and knowledge of patient confidentiality issues and HIPAA compliance/regulations are essential. Bilingualism in Spanish and English strongly preferred.

The Psychiatrist is responsible for the quality of medical and psychiatric care provided by Mary's Center’s Mental Health Program.
